Grocery Girls Knit-Michigan Memories with Plucky and Wool & Honey
FYI Opossums are marsupials not rodents. They keep the insect populations down. Maybe the yarn company is animal friendly!!!! Hope hope💁♀ Carrie
Happy birthday from Maine!
I loved having you two back and seeing all you had to share. I love your vest, Jodi! And, Tracie, your Tolsta Tee is amazing! I have yarn for that one. I am having FOMO with Knit City Calgary, all your trips, and Flock, but I'm taking a big cruise in late August, so that is my priority. Sadly, I'm in Dublin on a Monday, so This is Knit is closed. :( I'm bummed. But, I have some other places highlighted in Shetland, Edinburgh, Bergen and Oslo. As for racoons--ugh!! They are NOT cute when a family sets up home under your house and tears up all your heating/AC ducts!! They live in our sewers and come out at night to wreak havoc on lawns and any fish ponds. NOT fun!!
Happy Birthday, girls!! Hello from Central Illinois!
Loving your podcast! I’m a huge fan of Susan B’s stuffies. I’ve done 3 Christopher Bunnies and I’m currently working on Good Bear. They are great patterns.
I really need one of those adorable bags, plz get the ordering info! Cutest bag ever💙💜💚❤️🩷
For someone like me who is terribly allergic to wool and alpaca, what are my choices for knitting a warm sweater? Cotton stretches out. Linen and bamboo are not warm. Other than acrylic what other warm fibers are there? I tried 10% wool, 20% wool. My sinus and eyes looked at me and was like "Who are you trying to fool? We said no wool".
Real licorice gives me cold sores. I so miss Allsorts and Good and Plenty! Happy birthday year!
I have knit many garments, but never steeked the armholes or a v-neck. Can I ask a favor? Could you please show the project while it's still on the needles before you have steeked those holes? I've always wondered what it looks like.
omg a vest make along for the fall
Please i can not find the Cute Cube Bag!!!! I live in LaSalle On I would love 💕 this bag. I just found you girls. My Husband says when he walks in Really Honey your Watching these Girls Again He walk out lolol. So Funny. Love 💕 you Both spoooooo much.
Another fantastic episode thank you! Happy birthday Jodi.
Beautiful vest and great color
The cat socks are fabulous!
Have you seen the Agave top by Yukimo Alexander? It’s a stunning summer top and you have to see the version knit by Beth MacDonald Stone, gorgeous!! Knit in linen, I think you’d love it! ❤
Jodi that color vest on you is fabulous! Prettiest color I have seen on you ...TRULY❤️❤️
You guys are amazing! Thank you so much!! I did design the CTV Sweater for my lived experiences.
Thoughts from Australia….. winter here now but we have summer around the corner.
I really love your tips. Really helps us to
Nuts and chocolate together are bad for cold sores but yes lysine helps so much. I take 1000 3 times a day when feel it coming and they just go.
Calgary not to far. and a beautiful city.
Jodi were you near Mackinac island. I would recommend it.
I want to see the socks on your feet. I have been knitting the socks with the cat face that you showed last Feb or March. These are the first pair of socks for me with a shoe size of 7. Years ago, I knitted multiple pairs for my husband size 13 feet. This has been such a different experience. I need to do the kitchener to both toes and then learn how to do duplicate stitch for the eyes. I am soooo ready to be done .
Oh my goodness thank y’all so much for lovin’ on Chevv!!! Yes the pattern includes SO MANY OPTIONS so that every knitter can make it *just so* Hope to see y’all at NYSW!
I could recommend Sammen dress/tunic as a Beautiful pattern
Regarding fitting Jodi’s sock fit, I recently learned of a short row heel that addresses this. It is “Magic Fit” short row heel by Madeleine Gray. I haven’t used it yet but I’m getting ready to. The pattern is very reasonably priced.
I saved Pier 39
Wow, what a great 3 hours😊
I love socks you knitted for Jodi
3weeks ago walked out my front door into a wasp in my eye. It stung me on the eyelid. It hurt like h--! I had to go to the ophthalmologist because they were afraid it stung into my cornea. Wasps don’t leave their stinger because it doesn’t have a barb. They can then sting multiple times. A week later my eye was still swollen almost shut. First thing in the morning I looked like a horror movie extra. It was horrible! I ended up at my primary care physician having to get a steroid shot in my bum! I now have a scar on my eyelid.😫
I agree - I really like the new Framed pattern, but I actually think it would look better in solid colors due to the geometric design, which is quite brilliant - but hidden by color changing yarn. Plus, 3 or 4 (or more) skeins of spincycle is quite expensive! 😬
Jodi love your vest color! Do you ever talk about your yarn stash. Tracie’s wall is beautiful! Do you knit from stash often?
Totally agree on Qdoba!
I can't even with that stripped being sweater Traci it is amazing it's so beautiful. Happy birthday Jodi that neon watermelon is gorgeous 😍
Okay, you got me at Hello !! You ARE filming at the show. I want to see your booth and all the great samples you are taking to share. Get somebody to be your "recorder" and they can save everything for you so you can have the memory.....and show it to us too. Those millions of your fan girls that cannot get there want to see it all too and raise a glass to your success. I hope you sell out ! I know if I was there I would just give you all my money and be a happy camper. Love & good luck.
Happy birthday girls🎂🎂
Happy birthday Jodi and Happy belated birthday Tracie! Thank you so much for the share of the Chevv sweater and the mention of us exhibiting at Flock Fiber Fest and Knit City Calgary! Looking forward to seeing you both there 💖💜💕
Remind me not to bring you a pie while you're podcasting!!
Happy birthday Jodi and Tracie. Love your vest, love all the knitting. All the best at knit city.
Fab knitting and makeup tips. The silver Antigone knits up lovely. It’s a lovely linen .
I had pumkin spice coffee today. I'm not ashamed
Awesome episode, as always! I made Joji’s Aimee cardigan with that Circus Tonic possum yarn, and it’s the best, most professional-looking, softest sweater that I have ever made!
Good morning to you and Happy Birthday 🎉 to uou gals from Maynardville Tennessee love you guys
Ukraine, not "the ukraine" - that's actuallu quite rude. Just remember you would not say The Canada, The Norway, etc
Checkout the sweet shop blanket by Laura Penrose. Great blanket for minis. I haven't done it but it's a favourite 😂
Amanda bring back the tote bag with the animal illustrations
Your Tolsta tee made me gasp out loud! I love it!!!!
Opossum are not rodents. They are North America’s only indigenous marsupial.
And they benefit the environment. Get educated.
Use ELECTRIC WATERMELON!!! perfect name. ❤❤❤ 🎉🎉
I need! The electric watermelon
